National Park Week April 22-26

Coming up next week is the 2013 National Park Week! From Mon. April 22 -  Fri. April 26 you can get free admission to national parks! So pack up the kids and a picnic and get your park-playtime on!

Here in Prince William County, that means free admission to:

• Prince William Forest Park
• Manassas National Battlefield Park

Other parks that will have free admission that may be worth a day trip are:

• Appomattox Court House National Historical Park
• Assateague Island National Seashore
• Colonial National Historical Park
• George Washington Memorial Parkway’s Great Falls Park
• Petersburg National Battlefield
• Shenandoah National Park

MARYLAND

• Antietam National Battlefield
• Assateague Island National Seashore
• Chesapeake and Ohio Canal National Historical Park
• Fort McHenry NM and Historic Shrine National Monument
• Fort Washington Park
• Harpers Ferry National Historical Park

WEST VIRGINIA

• Harpers Ferry National Historical Park
