11/4/13

Week in Preview: November 4-10, 2013

Happy Monday!! Here are a few of our picks for this week.  Some of you have emailed me to ask how I choose what goes on this list.  Here's how it works:
1) Sometime between 10:30pm on Sunday and 1am on Monday I think to myself "Shoot, I forgot that stupid Week in Preview Post.  Again.  Why do I blog, I'm not even good at it."
2) Sometime between 10:45pm on Sunday and 3am on Monday, I actually pull up my calendar
3) I pick a few things that sound different or interesting
4) I look ahead a few weeks for things that require tickets or RSVPs or prepayment
5) I tell the post to publish at 8:30am. You guys think I'm wicked organized.  It's all smoke and mirrors.

There's no conspiracy or anything like that.  If paying advertisers have events they want featured, they can have separate posts, so I don't over-stress putting them on this post, although occasionally, I do.  The library makes frequent appearances, and I can promise you that they haven't given me a cent.

In fact, I believe my last fine was like $50, so I'm actually paying them.

So....hope that clears things up.

Off we go.

Did you vote yet?

How about now?
