Week in Preview September 8th 2014

Hey Guys!

We enjoyed our weekend in Gettysburg for my brother's wedding.  My daughter was the flower girl and really enjoyed herself, and the boys danced all night.  I hope you enjoyed your weekend, too!

This week, get ready for:

Monday, September 8
At 11am, join Spanish Circle Time at Bull Run Library with stories and songs in Spanish.
Online Registration for Baby Signs at Chinn begins today:
Baby Signs: Sign, Say, and Play
Monday, September 15, 10:30 a.m.
Join Noelle Snodgrass, an Independent Certified Instructor, for a fun-filled class with signing,
singing, and dancing.
Ages 6 - 24 months with a caregiver.
Online registration begins September 8. 

Tuesday, September 9
Chinn Library hosts a 10:30 a.m storytime for ages 2-6 with a caregiver.
IKEA Woodbridge has kids eat free starting at 12pm. Visit the play area, have lunch or dinner, and have fun!

Wednesday, September 10
At 10 am the Great Zucchini will play a free show for the Movers and Shakers Club at Manassas Mall. Meet in the JC Penney Court.
On the other side of the county? At 10am, Uncle Pete Rocks will play at Stonebridge under the Jumbotron.

Thursday, September 11
​Prince William Community Band will play the Locust Shade Park Amphitheater at 7:30pm.  $4/ticket. This is a lovely outdoor venue- but be sure to watch the weather.
Alternatively, join the NOVA Manassas Campus at the Mary Louise Jackson Amphitheater to watch Captain America the Winter Soldier General Public Admission - $3.00 per person, NOVA teachers/students are free with ID. Seating begins at 7:45pm.

Friday, September 12
Go out.  Seriously.  It's good for your marriage/relationship to get time together. If you need a place for your kids, Kids N Motion, Vertical Rock, and several martial arts studios offer kids night!

Saturday, September 13
NLGV will host a FamJam for FREE including 10:00 - 11:30 Pirate Games, 11:30 - 12:00 Live Pirate Show and 12:00 - 1:00 Free Cook-out Lunch. This is in Gainesville.
Join the National Museum of the Marine Corps for Family Day! Robotics theme will include learning how Marines use robots to find hidden explosives, and how students compete as teams in school competitions. 

Sunday, September 14
Great Country Farms in Bluemont is running their Apple Gala all month- but it's open this weekend! Get in some outdoor fall fun with the family!
Muppets Most Wanted will be playing on the Jumbotron at Stonebridge at 7pm.
