Week in Preview: Week of June 25-July 1, 2012

Hello Mommas (and Papas)! We're fully in the summer swing of things now! If you're looking for things to do with kids in Prince William County this week, I've got a few suggestions for you! Don't forget you can always check out full calendar of events by clicking "Calendar" at the top of this page.  Also, be sure to like us on Facebook and Twitter (@PwcMoms) for daily updates about what's going on!

Monday, June 25th
Locust Shade Park has a discount on Batting Cage Admission every Monday.  "Swing" by for some time in the cages and then stay for the playground, paddle boats, or putt-putt golf.

Tuesday, June 26th
Michaels will be having several "Passport to Imagination" events over the summer, and there's one this Tuesday.  If you have a kid who loves crafts, be sure to check out our list of JoAnn Fabric's summer "camps"  which are happening all summer long for various skill levels and ages.

Wednesday, June 27th
The City of Manassas offers several free concert series throughout the summer.  On this Wednesday, catch one over lunch! The concerts happen under the Harris Pavilion, and can be a great way to pass an hour or so.  Younger kids can dance, there are train tracks in the background, and if you don't feel like packing a lunch, there's a Subway right across the street.

There are several "Wild Raptors" shows with the Raptor Conservancy of Virginia happening this summer through the library system.  You can catch them at Bull Run and Central this Wednesday!
Learn about birds of prey, their habitats, and habits when Kent Knowles of the Raptor Conservancy of Virginia brings several of these fierce birds to the library.
